We are a mixed-voice choir of enthusiastic singers of all ages and backgrounds, united by a love of music and choral singing.
CCS – Chorleywood based, with choir tours in the UK and Europe
Our musical heritage in Chorleywood goes back over 100 years! We perform a wide range of choral music, both modern and traditional, and welcome anyone who loves singing – no auditions are necessary. Some choir members have a lot of musical experience while others don’t, but we work hard as a group to produce great music to a high standard. We put on three performances a year and we always have great fun in the making. In between concerts we hold well-supported social events for choir members.
In addition to our formal concert programme, CCS has embraced a truly uplifting community partnership with Chorleywood Orchestra, raising money for a range of local charities. We also collaborate for social events in local care homes, organising hugely enjoyable participative musical events for residents.
Optional UK and European tours in late summer are a popular and a very special feature of the CCS calendar.
The Choir’s Special Occasion Singers are also available to sing at weddings and other events.

We rehearse on a Monday evening at Christ Church, Chorleywood Road, Chorleywood WD3 5SG. Members meet informally from 7.30 pm for a catch-up and refreshments and our warm-up and rehearsal start at 8pm.
